Current Learning 

This term, our learning thread is Cocoa. We will be developing our knowledge on how important Fairtrade is to us as a school, linking it with chocolate and where one of the main ingredients comes from

Our Writing focus will start with, 'The Fluffy, Squishy, Itty Bitty', a super story about friendship a little girl and her mum and we will plan and write our own narrative based on the Eddie and the Fluffy Squishy Itty Bitty and their next adventure.

We will then continue to apply our reading and writing skills through non-fiction texts, with a focus on the production of chocolate. We will write a chronological report on how chocolate is made from beans to bar.

In Maths, we will apply our skills and extend our existing knowledge on multiplication and division using our reasoning skills to explain our answers. We will then focus on measurement including mass, temperature and capacity.

This term we will use our design, make and evaluating skills to make our own chocolate bar.
