Current Learning

This term our learning will be 'Over Land and Sea'.

We will be learning more about the United Kingdom and the differences between the land and sea. We will use the text 'Grandad's Island' to explore this theme further and identify physical and human features of inland Crowborough compared to coastal Eastbourne. This will also include a trip to Eastbourne Beach where the children will take part in fieldwork activities. We will also learn about the heroics of Grace Darling and the impact her behaviour had on sea rescues today.

Have a look at the learning letter below for more information.
