WELCOME TO ASHDOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Thank you for visiting our website.
We hope it gives you a glimpse into the many wonderful things happening at our creative, nurturing, and ambitious school.
At Ashdown, we are proud to offer a vibrant learning environment where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I feel privileged and honoured to lead such an inspiring school community.
Dawn Gibbs, Executive Headteacher
At Ashdown, we value everyone, nurture their strengths and enable them to flourish.
At Ashdown, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can flourish. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that our curriculum not only meets the educational needs of our children but also helps them grow into ambitious and creative individuals. We believe in the potential of every unique child and strive to provide the support each one needs to succeed.
Our school is a community where creativity is encouraged and celebrated. We understand that learning extends beyond traditional academics; it is also about developing lifelong learning skills and a love of learning. Through a variety of innovative approaches and a holistic curriculum, we provide opportunities for our children to explore their interests and discover new passions in a supportive and caring environment.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, where diversity is embraced and all members of our community are valued. Our aim is not only to educate but to prepare our students for a global society.
Each of our school sites is led by a talented and experienced Head of School. Debbie Stephen is Head of School at our infant site and oversees the provision for inclusion across the school. Barrie Lucas is Head of School at our junior site and is responsible for fostering Achievement and Potential for all in our community.
