VISIT TO THE BRITISH WILDLIFE CENTRE

We travelled on a double decker coach, which was very exciting as we took turns to sit upstairs. Our keepers showed us lots of different animals that live in Britain. We saw hedgehogs, badgers, Scottish Wildcats, who don't like anyone and are really fierce. We also saw lots of different owls and foxes too. Did you know when an owl hoots, it is actually two owls speaking to each other. One says '"Twit" and the other says "Twoo!"

VISIT FROM RAYSTEDE ANIMAL WELFARE CENTRE

We learnt about different animals that are being taken care of by Raystede. We had to find items that animals need on a Treasure Hunt in the playground and we sorted them by the animal. Finally we met their pet dog. We learnt to ask, "Can I pet your dog please?" before stroking it. It was a fun morning.

  • FIREFIGHTER VISIT

Green Watch came to visit us. They showed us their uniform and we timed Firefighter Nathan to see how long it took him to put it all on. It was 36 seconds! They showed us their fire engine and all the special equipment they use to keep us safe. Thank you Green Watch.
