Welcome to Ashdown Primary School's Holiday Club!
Our holiday playscheme is designed to give Ashdown children a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable place to spend their school breaks. Led by our friendly team, children can take part in a range of activities while families feel confident that their child is well looked after.
Each day includes a mix of play, creativity, and learning opportunities, with activities planned to suit different ages and interests. Children can enjoy arts and crafts, games, sports, and supervised outdoor time where possible. We also build in time for rest and snacks, so routines remain calm and positive throughout the day.
We welcome children from EYFS to Year 6 who attend Ashdown Primary School and you can book your child's place through Arbor. We accept Childcare Vouchers.

*** FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS ***
On Monday 30th March and Friday 9th April, our Forest School Lead, Mrs Beesley, will be running special Forest School sessions as part of the playscheme. These days will give children the opportunity to explore, learn and play outdoors in our wonderful woodland area. Demand is high for these sessions so please do book quickly to secure your child's place. Children will need to bring welly boots and wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy! School waterproofs are provided. Book your place early to avoid disappointment!
Packed Lunches and Snacks
Please provide your child with a packed lunch and a snack for the day. The children will eat lunch together and will be supervised by the team. School policies apply to the playscheme, so please do follow our usual healthy packed lunch guidelines which you can find in the Food Policy on the school website. We are a no nuts school.
If you book an early session, the cost includes breakfast, and if you book a late session, the cost includes an afternoon snack.
Drop-off and collection arrangements
The holiday club runs from our infant site on Luxford Road, TN6 2HW.
Please use the usual breakfast and after school club entrance for drop-off and collection. This is past the main school entrance, next to the school hall. Please wait at the door for a member of staff to sign your child in or out. If someone else will be collecting your child, please let the staff know on arrival or via the contact methods below. Staff will not permit a child to leave with an alternative adult without parental consent.
Medications
Please ensure you bring any medications your child needs and that they are handed to a member of staff at drop-off. If your child’s medicines are held at school, you will need to collect them at the end of the school day on Friday 27th March. On the first day of attending, you will be asked to complete a consent form to permit staff to administer medicines. Please be reassured that our playscheme leaders hold full paediatric first aid qualifications.
Spare Clothes
You may wish to pack some spare clothes for your child in case of accidents or if they get wet during an activity.
