Wildlife Area
We are very privileged to have a large wildlife area within the school grounds at the Infant Site which has the benefit of a raised pond and an all-weather pathway. This unique resource is used throughout the year to support learning across all areas of the curriculum and with all year groups.
This is an excellent facility to improve and extend the learning opportunities of all our children and visitors to the school.
We offer school and community trips to the area where other members of the local and extended community can hire the area for a variety of activities.

Wildlife Action Mornings
We hold regular Wildlife Action Mornings , approximately once per term, where we invite parents and their children to come and help us take care of our valuable resource. We tackle jobs such as cutting back brambles, tidying the pond and clearing paths and even find time to have coffee and cake.
Here are a few photos from a recent Wildlife Action Morning
WILDLIFE ACTION MORNING 28.11.21
Our next Wildlife Action Morning is Sunday March 13th. All children and their parents from either site are welcome. We especially hope the children from Hedgehogs class will support this event.
FOREST SCHOOL CLUB
Each week children from Year 1 and 2 join Mrs McAteer to explore the outdoors and develop new skills and have lots of fun!
