DT at Ashdown
DT DAY 2022
For DT Day, as a school, we looked at sustainable energy sources and thought about how we could make our school even more eco-friendly. The design brief was to create something using natural resources or recycling to 're-use' instead of throwing it away.
At the Infant Site the children chose to design and make models of wind turbines and windmills. At the Junior site the children designed and made models of an ideal eco-Ashdown. At the end of the day the whole school had worked through the entire DT process and developed a much deeper understanding of renewable energy! Well done to the children and their teachers, and thank you to those parents who volunteered to help. Have a look at the gallery below to see what we got up to:
