Children may choose to wear summer dresses, shorts, or short‑sleeved shirts. No ties are worn with short sleeves, but ties are still required with long‑sleeved shirts. Tights may not be worn with summer dresses.

 

In English, we will be exploring The Nowhere Emporium by Ross MacKenzie before moving on to the poetry unit “Still I Rise” inspired by Maya Angelou.

In maths, children will develop their understanding of shape, angles, position, and direction, including symmetry, reflection, and translation.

Our history topic asks “What was the impact of the Romans?” 

We will study Roman entertainment, art, army strategies, and Boudicca’s influence.

In art, we will explore colour theory and use this to design modern mosaic floors.
