Key Information

Mr Angus is our class teacher and we will be supported in the classroom by Mrs Johnson and Miss Thomas during the mornings. We will also see Miss Thomas in the afternoons when she is in supporting members of our class. Our PPA this term is on Mondays and will be PE (taught by Mrs Jarman) and music (taught by Mrs Pullinger)

Current Learning

Our PE this term will be athletics and basketball and will be taught on Mondays and Thursdays. For these lessons, children will need to ensure they wear their house coloured top, PE shorts and plimsolls. Any child without kit will be required to have a note excusing them from PE as per our policy. Children should have their PE kits in school throughout the week, just in case there is a last minute change of plans which cannot be communicated. 

Topic learning

During both terms 5 and 6 we will be focussing on the Romans. We will be learning about their innovations and how we still see reminders of these in some of our technologies today. We will learn about the social lives of Romans as well as their architecture, army and we will pay close attention to Roman Britain.
