Current Learning

This term we will be looking at the question 'How did Britain change after the settlement of the

Anglo Saxons? ' including where, when and why the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain.

In English we will be writing adventure stories based on The Whale by Ethan Murrow and Vita Murrow

and reading The Girl who stole an Elephant by Nizrana Farook.

Our Science theme is living things and their habitats. We will be classifying animals and plants and looking

at how they have adapted to their habitats. This will also be linked to the environment and the effects

of humans and global warming.

We would really like EVERYONE to focus on finding books that they love, getting lost in great stories, and sharing those fantastic stories with us all at school.

We are asking all children to read for pleasure at least 4 times a week and using Timestables Rockstars at least twice a week.
